WINNIPEG, MB (CANARIES) – Winnipeg blew open a tight game late to down the Canaries 11-4 at Blue Cross Park on Wednesday.

Back-to-back doubles from Michael Curialle and Anthony Hall in the top of the fourth tied the game but a pair of Winnipeg solo homers in the bottom half put the Fish in front for good.
They added two more runs in the fifth inning to build a 6-2 lead before the Canaries rallied in the sixth. Joe Vos drew a bases loaded walk and Mike Hart was then hit by a pitch but Sioux Falls left the bases loaded that inning.
The Goldeyes got a run back with an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh and broke the game open with four in the eighth.
Curialle and Hall each finished with two hits as the Birds dip to 39-37. The two teams wrap up their three-game series Thursday at 6:30pm.
